BHAGAVAD GITA SHLOKA CHANTING
(4.30 pM, 17th August)
Duration – 5 MINS
- PRE-NURSERY: Shlokas to be chanted ANY CHAPTER (ANY 2)
- LKG-UKG: Shlokas to be chanted ANY CHAPTER (ANY 2)
- CLASS I-CLASS II: Shlokas to be chanted CHAPTER 6 (ANY 4)
- CLASS III-CLASS IV: Shlokas to be chanted CHAPTER 7 (ANY 5)
- CLASS V-CLASS VII: Shlokas to be chanted CHAPTER 9 (ANY 5)
- CLASS VIII-CLASS X: Shlokas to be chanted CHAPTER 10 (any number of shlokas can be chanted)
VEDIC QUIZ
(5.30PM, 17th August)
This contest is open for category 5 & 6
- THE QUIZ QUESTIONS WILL BE BASED ON AUTHENTIC VERSIONS OF RAMAYANA AND MAHABHARATA.
- THE VEDIC QUIZ WILL CONSIST OF THREE ROUNDS: AN INITIAL WRITTEN ROUND FOLLOWED BY TWO ORAL ROUNDS.
- PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BRING STATIONARY LIKE PENS, PENCILS, ERASERS, EXAM PADS ETC.
PAINTING
(18th August)
This contest is open for category 5 & 6
Duration – 90 MINS
- THEME: KRISHNA IN VRINDAVAN
- PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO DO THE OUTLINE THEMSELVES
- ANY COLORING MATERIALS CAN BE USED.
- A PLAIN DRAWING SHEET WILL BE PROVIDED
COLORING
(18th August)
This contest is open for category 1, 2, 3 & 4
Duration – 60 MINS
- COLORING SHEETS WITH OUTLINES WILL BE PROVIDED.
- PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BRING THEIR OWN STATIONARY ITEMS.
- PARTICIPANTS TO MENTION THEIR NAME AND OTHER DETAILS ON THE GIVEN SHEET.
- pencil crayons , wax crayons or oil pastels can be used as a medium.
SEMI-CLASSICAL DANCE
(18th August)
This contest is open for category 3, 4, 5 & 6
Duration – 3 MINS
GROUP 1: CLASS II – CLASS IV
GROUP 2: CLASS V – CLASS X
- Participants can perform dance with semi-classical dance steps.
- Songs or imitations of dance from any movies are not allowed.
- Devotional songs that can be used are as follows :
- Achyutam Keshvam
- Krishna niBegane Baro
- Meera Baanke Bihari Laal
- Janmashtami Songs
- Sri Krishna Govinda
- apart from above mentioned songs any other similar devotional number based on Lord Krishna can be used for the performance.
- The participant should mention his/her name before narrating the rhyme.
PURANIC COSTUMES
(17th August)
This contest is open for category 1, 2, 3 & 4
Duration – 1 MIN
- Only ramp walk, no dialogue delivery required
- Participants may dress up as Radha & Krishna or any character from the Puranas or any ancient Indian scriptures.

- PARTICIPANTS MUST PREPARE A NO ONION, NO GARLIC, SATVIK VEGETARIAN DISH.
- THE MEDIUM OF PREPARING THE FOOD MUST BE FLAMELESS .
- The prepared food would be offered to the Lord Krishna as Bhoga.
RANGOLI
(17th August)
This contest is open for category 5 & 6
Duration – 45 MIN
- Create colorful Rangoli to attract the attention of Lord Krishna.
- any medium / materials / pallete can be used for creating the rangoli.
- the total size should not exceed 2 mt X 2 mt.
VOCAL MUSIC
(18th August)
This contest is open for all category
Duration – 3 MIN
- This contest is open for participants from class I to class X.
- Devotional compositions of great Acharyas like Purandara Dasa, Kanaka Dasa, Meera Bai, Vallabhacharya, Surdas, Annamacharya, Jayadeva, Ramdas etc. may be used.
- Participants must perform songs that strictly adhere to Indian Classical Music traditions.
- Rendition can be accompanied by instruments/Shruthi box.
- Participants should mention their name before beginning the performance.
- The organisers would be engaging a harmonium and a tabla artist at the venue for accompanying any desiring participant.
CLASSICAL DANCE
(18th August)
This contest is open for participants from category 4, 5 & 6.
Duration – 3 MIN
- Participants can choose any of the Indian classical dance forms for the performance. E.g. Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Kuchipudi, Odissi, Kathakali and so on, Select any theme related to Krishna or Rama or any other avatar of Lord Vishnu.
- Songs or imitation of dance from movies will not be entertained.
- Participants should mention their name before beginning the performance.
